CNC Machinist responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment to produce precision parts from engineering specifications, blueprints, and sketches.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5 years of CNC machining experience
  • CNC milling experience
  • Experience with CNC setup and operation
  • G&M code experience
  • Experience deburring machined parts
  • Ability to detect tool wear and make offset changes
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications
  • Experience working with a variety of metals and plastics under close tolerances

Preferred Skills

  • HAAS machine experience
  • Multi-axis CNC lathe experience
  • Experience determining machining processes, tooling, and programming requirements
  • Experience producing precision parts in a close-tolerance manufacturing environment

Job Responsibilities

  • Program, set up, and run CNC multi-axis lathes
  • Set up and operate CNC milling equipment
  • Interpret engineering specifications, blueprints, and sketches
  • Determine machining processes, tooling, and programming requirements
  • Make G&M code adjustments as needed
  • Detect tool wear during machining operations
  • Make offset changes to maintain part quality and dimensional accuracy
  • Deburr machined parts
  • Machine parts from metals and plastics to close tolerances
  • Verify completed parts against drawings and specifications


Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
