Test Technician
Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician needed to build, test, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair complex electro-mechanical medical device systems.
Job Requirements
- Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of directly related work experience
- Experience manufacturing, testing, or supporting complex electro-mechanical systems
- Ability to read drawings, sketches, schematics, technical manuals, and written instructions
- Knowledge of electronic theory and mathematics
- Ability to use basic test equipment, including multimeters
- Ability to set up and use advanced test equipment, including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test equipment
- Ability to read and understand diagnostic data
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Experience troubleshooting, debugging, aligning, calibrating, and verifying product function
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and database software
- Ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 25 lbs.; lifting over 25 lbs. with assistance

- Experience repairing and replacing defective parts and components
- Experience conducting tests or experiments of moderate complexity
- Experience modifying test setups or procedures
- Experience extracting, compiling, and presenting technical data
- Experience providing technical instructions to team members or support personnel
Job Responsibilities
- Construct and test assemblies from drawings, sketches, schematics, technical manuals, and instructions
- Use prescribed test procedures to troubleshoot, debug, and measure electronic or mechanical assemblies
- Use multimeters and other basic test equipment to complete routine measurements
- Set up and operate advanced test equipment requiring data interpretation
- Test, align, calibrate, and troubleshoot assemblies to verify proper product function
- Repair and replace defective parts and components
- Perform assembly and repair duties as needed
- Perform soldering as required
- Conduct tests or experiments of moderate complexity
- Modify test setups or procedures when required
- Analyze data for applicability, practicality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications
- Extract and compile technical data from recognized sources
- Set up and operate complex test or experimental equipment
- Record, process, and present test data
- Discuss technical issues with team leaders, senior technicians, or engineering
- Provide technical instruction to team members or support personnel
- Recommend process or procedure improvements for assigned duties
- Perform related technician duties as assigned
Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
