Electrical Engineer III
Electrical Controls Engineer responsible for designing, programming, and troubleshooting control systems for high-speed food and beverage canning machinery.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or extensive electrical machine design, controls, and logic experience
- 8+ years of controls design and engineering experience for high-speed machinery
- Experience with Rockwell Studio 5000 PLC programming
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or AutoCAD
- Experience with safety relays and Safety PLCs
- Experience troubleshooting machinery using wire diagrams and PLC logic
- Experience with electrical control systems engineering and design
- Experience working with food and beverage machinery or canning machinery projects
- Knowledge of CE standards and European safety standards
Preferred Skills
- AutoCAD Electrical experience
- Text programming experience
- Experience designing controls for canning machinery
- Experience supporting high-speed production equipment
- Experience with machine safety systems and compliance requirements
Job Responsibilities
- Design electrical control systems for food and beverage machinery
- Develop and modify PLC programs using Rockwell Studio 5000
- Create and update electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical or AutoCAD
- Support controls design for high-speed canning machinery projects
- Troubleshoot machine issues using wire diagrams and PLC logic
- Design and support machine safety systems using safety relays and Safety PLCs
- Apply CE and European safety standards to control system designs
- Support engineering activities related to machinery installation, startup, and commissioning
- Review control system performance and make required design or logic updates
- Work with project teams to support electrical controls requirements for machinery projects
Pay Details: $115,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
