Designs high-reliability power conversion products and subsystems for demanding applications, including AC-DC and DC-DC converters, inverters, and related analog and digital circuitry.

Job Requirements

  • BSEE or related technical bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience in electronics power conversion product design and manufacturing, or relevant research and product development in support of a doctoral or post-doctoral program
  • Demonstrated DC-DC converter design experience, AC-DC converter design experience, or inverter design experience
  • Experience with analog circuit design
  • Experience with digital design
  • Experience performing detailed circuit analysis to verify compliance with performance targets
  • Experience with computer-aided modeling and schematic generation

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with manufacturing standards and practices
  • Experience leading engineering design staff
  • Experience designing products for harsh environments, including military applications
  • Advanced degree in power electronics, such as MSEE or PhD
  • Relevant published research in power electronics

Job Responsibilities

  • Design analog and digital circuitry for power conversion products
  • Analyze and design high-reliability, high-power AC-DC and DC-DC power converters
  • Design power subsystems for applications such as radar, directed energy, and military more electric vehicles
  • Perform detailed circuit analysis to verify design compliance with specific performance targets
  • Use computer-aided modeling tools to support design analysis
  • Generate schematics for power conversion designs


Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
