Digital Systems & Workflow Optimization Specialist responsible for SharePoint development, workflow automation, data analytics, internal application development, and digital process improvement within regulated environments.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5–8 years of SharePoint development or similar IT/business systems experience.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Ability to work remotely and travel up to approximately 20%.
  • Availability to support a Monday–Friday, 40-hour work schedule.
  • Expert-level SharePoint development and administration experience.
  • Experience developing custom SharePoint sites, workflows, forms, and SPFx components.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with SharePoint REST APIs and JSON customizations.
  • Python scripting experience for automation, data cleaning, and reporting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Power BI experience, including visualization, data modeling, and DAX fundamentals.
  • Tableau dashboard development experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience, including PivotTables, Power Query, formulas, macros/VBA, and dashboards.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, Planner, Forms, Lists, OneDrive, and Outlook.
  • Basic SQL and data modeling knowledge.
  • Experience with process mapping, workflow redesign, documentation, and SOP development.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or another regulated industry.
  • Experience developing AI-enabled workflows.
  • Prompt engineering experience.
  • Microsoft Copilot experience.
  • Experience applying AI-assisted analytics or reporting capabilities.
  • UX/UI design experience for internal business applications.
  • Experience with quality compliance systems.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and data-driven process improvement.
  • Experience developing digital solutions for regulated quality or manufacturing processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced SharePoint solutions.
  • Create custom SharePoint sites, forms, workflows, and SPFx components.
  • Map and redesign digital workflows to reduce manual processing.
  • Develop automation scripts and internal tools using Python and Power Automate.
  • Build internal applications using Power Apps.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau.
  • Create data models, DAX calculations, and reporting structures.
  • Develop Excel-based analytics, dashboards, and automation tools.
  • Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 tools, APIs, and other enterprise systems.
  • Gather business and technical requirements for digital solutions.
  • Translate process requirements into applications, workflows, automation, and reporting tools.
  • Develop UX/UI designs for internal tools.
  • Perform data analysis and root cause analysis.
  • Create process maps, SOPs, system documentation, and user documentation.
  • Support deployment and adoption of new digital tools and workflows.
  • Provide user training for implemented systems and applications.
  • Maintain digital solutions in accordance with applicable regulated-industry and quality requirements.


Pay Details: $35.00 to $46.00 per hour
