Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

  • Equivalent experience may be considered in place of degree

  • 12+ years of related software development experience

  • 12+ years of experience developing software with C++ and/or Java

  • Experience with object-oriented design and development

  • Experience using design patterns

  • Experience with software insulation techniques

  • Experience with plugin-based software development

  • Experience working in Windows environments

  • Experience working in Solaris environments

  • Experience working in Linux environments

  • Experience developing UNIX scripts

  • Secret security clearance

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop software using C++ and/or Java

  • Apply object-oriented design and development practices

  • Use design patterns to support maintainable software architecture

  • Develop software using insulation techniques and plugin-based approaches

  • Develop and maintain scripts for Solaris, UNIX, Linux, or related environments

  • Support software development across Windows, Solaris, and Linux platforms

  • Use Integrated Development Environments such as Eclipse for software development

  • Create and interpret UML-based software design documentation

  • Develop and execute unit tests using xUnit-based frameworks

  • Support testing with JUnit and CppUnitLite

  • Follow CMMI Level 5 life cycle processes and procedures

  • Maintain software documentation and development records

  • Support software updates, troubleshooting, and code maintenance

Pay: 130k-150k/year
