Controls Engineer (AB Fanuc)
Develop, program, commission, and troubleshoot new automated manufacturing systems using PLCs, robotics, machine vision, and safety controls.
Job Requirements
- 5–10 years of controls engineering experience within industrial automation or manufacturing environments preferred.
- Experience developing, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting new automated manufacturing equipment in an integrator environment.
- Experience building and debugging new automation systems during initial equipment development and startup.
- Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLC platforms.
- Hands-on experience programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting FANUC robots.
- Experience developing and commissioning safety PLC applications.
- Experience integrating safety interlocks and machine safety devices.
- Experience performing machine safety validation.
- Experience leading controls or automation projects.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Keyence vision systems.
- Experience with Keyence 3D vision-guided robotic systems.
- Experience integrating machine vision with robotic automation.
- Experience supporting first-time equipment builds, factory acceptance testing, and production launch activities.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and program control systems for new automated manufacturing equipment.
- Program and configure Allen-Bradley PLC systems.
- Program, commission, and troubleshoot FANUC robotic systems.
- Integrate Keyence vision systems with automated equipment and robotics.
- Develop safety PLC logic, safety interlocks, and safety device controls.
- Perform machine safety validation and verify control system functionality.
- Commission new automation systems during equipment build and startup.
- Troubleshoot PLC, robotic, vision, electrical, and controls-related issues.
- Debug new equipment during initial integration and production launch.
- Lead controls engineering activities for assigned automation projects.
- Coordinate controls development, commissioning, testing, and implementation activities.
- Support equipment acceptance testing and final system validation.
Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
