Robotics Engineer (Fanuc)
Programs, integrates, commissions, and launches industrial robotic systems for automotive manufacturing and large-scale automation projects.
Job Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience programming, integrating, and launching industrial robotic systems
- Advanced FANUC robot programming experience
- At least 5 years of hands-on robotic commissioning experience
- Experience commissioning systems from a blank controller through customer acceptance
- Automotive manufacturing experience
- Experience leading robotics projects
- Experience supporting large-scale automation launches
- Experience troubleshooting robotic systems, controls, tooling, and process integration
- Experience with at least one industrial robotic application
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ABB robotic systems
- Experience with Yaskawa or Motoman robotic systems
- Experience with Kawasaki robotic systems
- Experience with Nachi robotic systems
- Experience with material-handling applications
- Experience with spot-welding applications
- Experience with arc-welding applications
- Experience with laser-welding applications
- Experience with adhesive or urethane dispensing
- Experience with sealer applications
- Experience with robotic paint applications
Job Responsibilities
- Program and configure FANUC industrial robotic systems
- Integrate robots with automated manufacturing equipment and controls
- Commission robotic systems from initial controller setup through final customer acceptance
- Develop and modify robot paths, routines, frames, tools, and application logic
- Support robotic system startup, testing, debugging, and production launch
- Lead robotics activities for automotive automation projects
- Troubleshoot robot programming, motion, communication, tooling, and process issues
- Optimize robot cycle time, path accuracy, process quality, and system reliability
- Integrate robotic applications for material handling, welding, dispensing, sealing, or painting
- Support equipment runoff, installation, validation, and production stabilization
- Document robot programs, system configurations, commissioning results, and technical changes
- Coordinate robotics activities with controls, mechanical, manufacturing, and project engineering teams
Pay Details: $49.00 to $66.00 per hour
