Sr Controls Engineer
Controls Engineer responsible for PLC/HMI programming, robotic system support, offline programming, debug, installation, and controls support for a final assembly cell.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of controls engineering experience
- Allen Bradley PLC experience
- Allen Bradley HMI experience
- Fanuc robot experience
- Experience navigating PLC systems
- Experience working with robotic arms
- Experience supporting automation equipment
- Experience with offline programming
- Experience with controls debug
- Experience supporting equipment installation
- Ability to work onsite in Walker, Michigan
- Ability to work 45–50 hours per week during project start-up
- Ability to work up to 60 hours per week during installation
Preferred Skills
- Experience with final assembly cells
- Experience with pneumatics
- Experience with servo gantry systems
- Experience with dispense equipment
- Experience with Keyence vision systems
- Experience with IR heater controls
- Experience with pallet conveyors
- Experience with tray conveyors
- Experience supporting machine build and installation projects
- Experience taking direction from a project lead
Responsibilities
- Support controls engineering during final assembly cell development and build
- Perform offline programming for automation systems
- Debug PLC, HMI, robot, and automation equipment
- Support installation at the customer facility
- Work with Allen Bradley PLC/HMI systems
- Support Fanuc robot programming and troubleshooting
- Support pneumatic system controls
- Support servo gantry controls
- Support dispense equipment controls
- Support Keyence vision system integration
- Support IR heater control systems
- Support pallet and tray conveyor controls
- Troubleshoot controls issues during machine build and installation
- Coordinate controls work with the project lead
- Support hands-on machine startup and commissioning ac
Pay Details: $67.00 to $90.00 per hour
