PLC Technician

PLC Maintenance Technician responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting conveyor systems, robotic welding systems, controls, and related electrical and mechanical equipment.

Job Requirements

• Experience with PLC maintenance in a manufacturing environment

• Experience maintaining conveyor systems

• Experience maintaining robotic welding systems

• Electrical troubleshooting experience

• Mechanical troubleshooting experience

• Ability to read and interpret schematics

• Understanding of programmable logic controls

• Experience troubleshooting controls, machinery, and automated equipment

• Experience with Allen-Bradley systems

• Experience with FANUC robotic systems

Preferred Skills

• Experience with both electrical and mechanical maintenance

• Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment

• Experience with robotic welding cells

• Experience with conveyor controls and automation systems

• Experience diagnosing PLC, sensor, motor, drive, and control panel issues

• Experience supporting preventive and corrective maintenance activities

Job Responsibilities

• Perform PLC maintenance on conveyor systems and robotic welding systems

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and controls-related equipment issues

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, control diagrams, and technical documentation

• Diagnose issues with programmable logic controls and automated equipment

• Support Allen-Bradley PLC systems and related controls

• Support FANUC robotic welding systems

• Troubleshoot conveyor controls, motors, sensors, drives, and related components

• Perform maintenance and repairs on automated manufacturing equipment

• Support production equipment uptime through corrective maintenance and troubleshooting

• Assist with preventive maintenance activities for conveyors, robotic systems, and controls equipment

• Document maintenance activities, troubleshooting steps, and equipment repairs

Pay: 40-54/hr

Pay Details: $40.00 to $54.00 per hour
