Customer Service / Sales Order Specialist responsible for SAP order entry, customer account support, service and repair coordination, order fulfillment, and issue resolution within a manufacturing environment.

Job Requirements

  • Experience with SAP.

  • Experience with sales order entry and order management.

  • Experience processing customer purchase orders, quotations, order changes, cancellations, returns, and credits.

  • Experience reviewing pricing, part numbers, quantities, delivery dates, and material information.

  • Experience supporting order fulfillment in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience managing customer service and repair transactions.

  • Experience maintaining order, backlog, and customer account information in an ERP system.

  • Experience coordinating shipments and tracking order status.

  • Experience investigating order discrepancies, shortages, incorrect shipments, and customer complaints.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with service and repair coordination.

  • Experience supporting warranty and return processes.

  • Experience working with Purchasing, Production, Service, Shipping, and Operations teams.

  • Experience with backlog management and delayed order recovery.

  • Experience coordinating calibration certificates or related service documentation.

  • Experience supporting material availability and shortage tracking.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts.

  • Process customer inquiries, quotations, purchase orders, sales orders, and order changes.

  • Provide pricing, availability, lead times, order status, shipment details, and tracking information.

  • Enter and maintain customer sales orders in SAP.

  • Review purchase orders for pricing, part numbers, quantities, delivery dates, and other requirements.

  • Verify customer and material information before order entry.

  • Process order changes, cancellations, returns, credits, and related transactions.

  • Monitor open orders, backlog, and potential delivery delays.

  • Manage service and repair requests from receipt through completion and shipment.

  • Create and maintain service and repair documentation and system transactions.

  • Coordinate repair status, parts requirements, shortages, quotations, approvals, and completion dates.

  • Coordinate return shipments of completed service units and required documentation.

  • Support warranty, return, and service-related transactions.

  • Monitor material availability and identify shortages affecting customer orders.

  • Coordinate with purchasing, production, service, shipping, and operations to support order fulfillment.

  • Coordinate priority orders and customer delivery requirements.

  • Investigate complaints, order discrepancies, shortages, and incorrect shipments.

  • Support root cause investigation and corrective action activities for customer order issues.

  • Maintain ownership of open issues through resolution and update applicable order records.



Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
