Edgebander Operator
Edgebander Machine Operator responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining edgebanding equipment while ensuring finished panels meet dimensional and quality requirements.
Job Requirements

Experience setting up and operating edgebanding or similar production machinery.

Experience working with MDF, particleboard, or similar panel materials.

Ability to interpret product specifications and production labels.

Ability to work with precise measurements and dimensional tolerances.

Experience using measurement and inspection tools.

Ability to identify equipment malfunctions through visual or audible indicators.

Experience performing minor machine repairs and adjustments.
-
Ability to use required Personal Protective Equipment.

Experience following manufacturing safety and production procedures.
Preferred Skills
-
Experience with edgebanding equipment in a cabinet, millwork, or woodworking environment.

Experience performing preventive maintenance on production machinery.

Experience troubleshooting adhesion, alignment, trimming, or finish quality issues.

Experience maintaining material and supply inventory records.

Experience performing quality control inspections on finished panels.
Job Responsibilities
-
Set up edgebanding equipment for production runs.
-
Operate machinery according to production requirements and established procedures.

Feed panels through equipment and monitor the edgebanding process.

Verify measurements against order specifications.

Inspect finished edges for smoothness, adhesion, alignment, and dimensional accuracy.

Use measurement and inspection tools to verify required tolerances.

Perform quality control tests on finished products.

Adjust machine settings to correct production or quality issues.

Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs as appropriate.

Coordinate larger equipment repairs with maintenance personnel or service providers.

Perform preventive maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines.

Interpret production labels and product specifications.

Maintain accurate inventory records for materials and supplies.

Follow established housekeeping, safety, and equipment operating procedures.
Pay Details: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
