Die Cutting Machine Operator responsible for setting up and operating die cutting equipment, performing dimensional inspections, and completing production documentation.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • 1+ year of manufacturing experience.

  • 1+ year of NEDC die cutter working knowledge.

  • Ability to read blueprints and customer documentation.

  • Experience setting up and operating die cutting machines.

  • Proficiency using dimensional inspection tools, including vernier calipers and micrometers.

  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings.

  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

  • Ability to carry, grasp, and reach as required for production activities.

  • Experience with material allocation processes.

  • Experience working within ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with additional die cutting and converting equipment.

  • Experience performing first-piece and in-process inspections.

  • Experience entering production time and job information into an MRP system.

  • Experience working from manufacturing routers and fabrication work instructions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review manufacturing routers for correct material, tooling, and delivery requirements.

  • Set up die cutting presses with the appropriate tooling and cutting depth.

  • Operate die cutting and converting equipment according to work instructions.

  • Perform first-piece cuts and in-process inspections.

  • Verify dimensional requirements using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools.

  • Run production jobs according to documented instructions and specifications.

  • Record production time accurately in the MRP system.

  • Follow fabrication department work instructions and documented manufacturing procedures.

  • Support material allocation and movement required for assigned jobs.

  • Maintain production activities in accordance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements.

Pay: 24-26/hr

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
