Inventory Control Specialist responsible for maintaining material availability, inventory accuracy, replenishment, and production kitting within a manufacturing environment.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, shipping/receiving, inventory, logistics, or material handling operations preferred.

  • Experience moving, stocking, and organizing materials in a production environment.

  • Experience monitoring inventory levels and processing replenishment requests.

  • Experience investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.

  • Ability to read and write in English.

  • Ability to follow written work instructions and safety documentation.

  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, and reach.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Ability to move throughout a production or warehouse facility.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience using barcode scanners or handheld inventory devices.

  • Experience with inventory management systems or ERP systems.

  • Experience with production material staging and point-of-use replenishment.

  • Experience preparing material kits for production jobs or assemblies.

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.

  • Experience with Continuous Improvement processes.

  • Experience with Kanban or pull-based replenishment systems.

  • Experience supporting inventory adjustments and cycle counting.

  • Experience reviewing slow-moving or inactive inventory.

  • Experience handling defective or nonconforming materials.

Job Responsibilities

  • Move materials from receiving and inventory areas to designated production workstations.

  • Prepare and distribute materials in required quantities for production use.

  • Stock and maintain materials at production workstations and designated storage locations.

  • Monitor inventory levels and process replenishment requests as materials are consumed.

  • Verify that production parts are stored in assigned locations.

  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and update inventory records as required.

  • Support inventory adjustments with purchasing, inventory control, and production functions.

  • Track material shortages and support resolution of inventory-related production issues.

  • Review slow-moving and inactive inventory and support disposition activities.

  • Prepare and kit materials for production jobs and assemblies.

  • Document and report defective or nonconforming materials according to established procedures.

  • Maintain material organization and inventory identification throughout production and warehouse areas.

  • Support production material flow and point-of-use inventory requirements.

Pay: 18-20/hr

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
