Lead Panel Builder / Industrial Electrician responsible for building, wiring, and troubleshooting industrial control panels while leading electrical work on larger machine-build projects.

Job Requirements

  • Experience building and wiring industrial electrical control panels.

  • Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.

  • Ability to identify electrical components shown on control panel drawings and schematics.

  • Experience mounting and wiring components on panel backplates.

  • Experience building control panels directly from engineering prints and electrical drawings.

  • Experience with industrial electrical wiring, terminal blocks, relays, contactors, breakers, power supplies, PLC hardware, and related control components.

  • Experience troubleshooting electrical wiring and panel-build issues.

  • Experience supporting machine build or industrial automation projects.

  • Ability to travel to customer sites for installation, startup, or project support.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience leading panel builders or industrial electricians on larger projects.

  • Experience with machine wiring and electrical integration.

  • Experience working with PLC programmers during machine build and startup activities.

  • Experience supporting field installation and commissioning.

  • Experience with industrial automation equipment and control systems.

  • Experience with electrical panel testing and verification.

  • Experience working from panel schematics, BOMs, and electrical layout drawings.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build and wire industrial control panels according to electrical schematics and engineering drawings.

  • Mount electrical components and devices to control panel backplates.

  • Identify and install required electrical components based on panel prints.

  • Route, terminate, and label panel wiring.

  • Verify completed panel wiring against schematics and design documentation.

  • Troubleshoot wiring errors, component issues, and electrical faults.

  • Lead electrical work on larger machine-build projects.

  • Provide technical direction to less-experienced panel builders and electricians.

  • Coordinate electrical build activities with programmers, project managers, and machine builders.

  • Support machine wiring and electrical system integration.

  • Perform electrical testing and verification prior to equipment startup.

  • Travel to customer sites with machine-build teams for installation, startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

  • Support field modifications and electrical corrections as required.

Pay: 30-35/hr

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
