Parts Counter / Packaging Associate responsible for counting, inspecting, packaging, labeling, and stocking parts for shipment while supporting production flow and quality requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Experience with counting, packaging, stocking, or material handling in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.

  • Ability to count parts using piece weight or similar counting methods.

  • Ability to perform visual inspection of parts during packaging.

  • Ability to identify packaging, labeling, and product quality issues.

  • Experience using shop floor, production tracking, or inventory systems.

  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.

  • Ability to perform repetitive lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and stooping.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

  • Ability to reach and lift up to 20 pounds overhead.

  • Visual acuity sufficient to inspect parts.

  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with manufacturing quality inspection.

  • Experience with production flow and material staging.

  • Experience with inventory stocking and organization.

  • Experience using Shop Floor Management Systems or similar production software.

  • Experience identifying nonconforming product.

  • Experience supporting production, quality, or engineering functions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Count and package product according to piece-weight requirements.

  • Visually inspect and audit parts during the packaging process.

  • Ensure parts are packaged and labeled correctly.

  • Load and stock inventory in designated areas.

  • Maintain production flow by processing required parts according to schedule.

  • Identify and report quality issues.

  • Stop processes suspected of producing nonconforming product.

  • Process product using the Shop Floor Management System.

  • Support quality, production, and engineering activities as assigned.

  • Maintain accurate product identification and packaging records.

  • Keep work areas clean and organized.

  • Follow applicable production, quality, and safety procedures.

Pay: 18-22/hr

Pay Details: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
