MIG/Flux Core Welder
Summary: Performs welding operations on steel storage components using appropriate welding equipment, procedures, and safety standards.
Job Requirements
- Experience performing welding operations on steel components.
- Experience setting up and operating welding equipment.
- Ability to follow welding procedures and fabrication specifications.
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements applicable to welding and fabrication operations.
- Ability to use required welding personal protective equipment.
- Ability to perform production welding in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Preferred Skills
- Previous manufacturing or metal fabrication experience.
- Experience welding steel storage products or similar fabricated assemblies.
- Experience reading basic welding drawings, fabrication prints, or work instructions.
- Experience inspecting completed welds for visible defects and conformance to specifications.
Job Responsibilities
- Weld steel storage components according to production and fabrication requirements.
- Set up welding machines, fixtures, and related equipment.
- Operate welding equipment according to established procedures.
- Inspect welds and completed components for conformance to applicable requirements.
- Maintain welding equipment and work areas according to established procedures.
- Follow OSHA and established workplace safety requirements during welding operations.
- Use required personal protective equipment during fabrication and welding activities.
Pay Details: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
