Mechanical Assembly Technician responsible for assembling, trimming, and installing prefabricated metal buildings and related mechanical components used to house electrical equipment.

Job Requirements

  • Experience with mechanical assembly, construction, fabrication, or related hands-on work.
  • Ability to assemble prefabricated metal building components.
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work from scaffolding up to 15 feet.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to follow established assembly procedures and work instructions.

Preferred Skills

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic electrical aptitude.
  • Experience fabricating or preparing metal components.
  • Experience installing mechanical equipment.
  • Experience working with prefabricated structures or industrial enclosures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assemble prefabricated metal buildings used to house electrical equipment.
  • Trim and fit metal building components during assembly.
  • Assist with fabrication and preparation of building components.
  • Install mechanical components and related equipment.
  • Use hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
  • Perform work from ladders and scaffolding as required.
  • Move and position materials and components weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and applicable safety procedures.


Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
