Manufacturing Associate responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring manufacturing processes, following safety and quality procedures, and supporting packaging, labeling, and general production activities.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures, safety requirements, and posted facility instructions.

  • Basic understanding of mechanical equipment operation.

  • Basic understanding of manufacturing quality requirements.

  • Basic math skills applicable to production work.

  • Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures.

  • Knowledge of hazard communication requirements.

  • Ability to use required personal protective equipment.

  • Ability to monitor multiple production processes simultaneously.

  • Ability to maintain accurate production counts and records.

  • 20/20 vision or corrected 20/20 vision.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

  • Ability to perform repetitive physical work.

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, stoop, and kneel.

  • Ability to work in a plant environment with varying temperatures and physical conditions.

  • Ability to demonstrate required safety knowledge following training.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous manufacturing, production, packaging, or labeling experience.

  • Experience reading and working from standard operating procedures.

  • Forklift experience.

  • Experience working with chemicals.

  • Light chemical manufacturing experience.

  • Experience operating industrial production equipment.

  • Experience performing basic autonomous maintenance activities.

  • Experience training production or manufacturing personnel.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment and manufacturing processes according to established procedures.

  • Follow standard operating procedures, safety regulations, and production requirements.

  • Select, use, and maintain required personal protective equipment.

  • Monitor product quality throughout the production process.

  • Identify and report potential out-of-specification or nonconforming product conditions.

  • Perform production line startup and shutdown activities.

  • Maintain accurate counts of products and materials used or produced.

  • Complete required production documentation.

  • Support packaging and labeling activities.

  • Maintain organized and hazard-free production areas.

  • Perform required housekeeping activities.

  • Grease, adjust, and clean designated production equipment as part of autonomous maintenance activities.

  • Follow chemical handling and hazard communication procedures.

  • Perform lockout/tagout activities according to established procedures.

  • Support cross-training across production line positions.

  • Train new manufacturing associates and laborers on assigned processes.

  • Perform general labor duties as required to support production.

  • Participate in required safety meetings and safety audits.

  • Support established production, quality, and safety targets.

Pay: 15-17/hr

Pay Details: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour
