Commercial Electrician

Performs hands-on commercial and industrial electrical installation work, including conduit bending, wire pulling, equipment mounting, and terminations in accordance with electrical drawings and NEC requirements.

Job Requirements

• 3–5 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
• Residential-only electrical experience does not meet the requirement.
• Experience bending EMT conduit from field measurements.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
• Ability to complete electrical installations in accordance with NEC requirements.
• Experience running conduit and pulling electrical wire.
• Experience mounting and terminating electrical equipment, switchgear, panels, or enclosures.
• Ability to stand for a full shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work from ladders and perform bending or kneeling tasks inside electrical enclosures.
• Must provide basic electrical hand tools, including a tape measure, level, and pencil.
• Journeyman license or electrical license is not required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience bending rigid conduit.
• Commercial electrical build-out experience.
• Switchgear or electrical panel manufacturing experience.
• Generator switchgear installation or wiring experience.
• Military electrical experience, including Electrician’s Mate or construction electrician backgrounds.

Job Responsibilities

• Bend and install EMT conduit according to measurements and electrical drawings.
• Install rigid conduit as required.
• Run conduit and pull electrical wiring for new installations.
• Mount electrical equipment, switchgear, panels, and enclosures.
• Terminate wiring within generator switchgear and electrical enclosures.
• Read and apply electrical blueprints, schematics, and installation drawings.
• Complete wiring and installation work according to NEC requirements.
• Perform hands-on production-floor electrical installation work.
• Verify conduit routing, wiring, and terminations against project specifications and drawings.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
