Supply Chain Manager
Supply Chain Manager responsible for leading purchasing, inventory, and logistics operations while directly managing critical procurement, supplier performance, MRP execution, and material availability for manufacturing.
Job Requirements
6–8 years of supply chain, procurement, or purchasing experience
4+ years of managerial or supervisory experience
Manufacturing purchasing experience required
Hands-on experience purchasing technical components, materials, and long-lead items
Experience managing RFQs, supplier negotiations, expediting, resourcing, and supplier performance
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), technical specifications, and engineering change orders (ECOs)
Experience maintaining purchasing data, pricing, lead times, and supplier confirmations within MRP/ERP systems
Experience managing material shortages, supplier delivery issues, engineering changes, and supply disruptions
Experience overseeing purchasing, inventory, and logistics functions
Experience with MRP-based material planning and execution
Experience developing and monitoring supply chain KPIs
Experience analyzing inventory levels, inventory turns, material availability, and working capital
Preferred Skills
APICS certification
CPIM certification
CSCP certification
Experience in electronics, HVAC, automotive, aerospace, battery manufacturing, or other technical manufacturing industries
Experience with AI-powered forecasting or supply chain analytics tools
Experience with automation platforms and advanced supply chain technologies
Experience with supplier scoring and performance analytics
Experience implementing procurement process improvements
Experience developing sourcing strategies for technical or long-lead materials
Experience reducing inventory levels and improving inventory cycle times
Job Responsibilities
Execute daily purchasing activities for critical components, technical materials, and long-lead items
Manage supplier RFQs, negotiations, purchase requirements, expediting, resourcing, and performance
Review engineering drawings, BOMs, specifications, and ECOs to determine purchasing requirements
Maintain accurate pricing, lead times, supplier confirmations, and purchasing data within MRP/ERP systems
Resolve material shortages, supplier delivery problems, engineering changes, and supply disruptions
Oversee purchasing, inventory, and logistics operations
Manage and coordinate supply chain personnel supporting purchasing, inventory, and logistics
Coordinate material requirements with engineering, production, and planning functions
Support production planning through MRP execution and material availability management
Establish and monitor purchasing, inventory, supplier performance, and on-time delivery KPIs
Analyze inventory health, inventory turns, working capital, and material cycle times
Develop and implement strategies to improve material flow and reduce excess inventory
Use forecasting, analytics, AI, and supplier performance tools to support supply planning and risk management
Identify procurement and supply chain bottlenecks
Implement continuous improvement initiatives for purchasing and material planning workflows
Develop supplier scoring and long-term sourcing strategies using supply chain performance data
Pay: 40-60/hr

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
