Envelope Machine Adjuster/Mechanic
Set up and operate envelope manufacturing equipment while maintaining product quality and minimizing downtime during size and style changeovers.
Job Requirements
- Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment.
- Experience performing machine changeovers or setups.
- Ability to adjust equipment for different product sizes and styles.
- Experience monitoring product quality during production.
- Ability to follow production specifications and approval requirements.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with envelope manufacturing equipment.
- Experience in printing, paper converting, packaging, or related manufacturing environments.
- Experience performing production quality checks.
- Experience reducing machine setup and changeover downtime.
Job Responsibilities
- Change machine setups between different envelope styles and sizes.
- Perform equipment adjustments required for production changeovers.
- Minimize downtime during machine setups and product transitions.
- Monitor manufactured products for quality and specification compliance.
- Obtain required approvals for each production job.
- Verify machine settings and product quality before full production runs.
- Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain production quality.
- Follow applicable production procedures and quality requirements.
Pay Details: $16.00 to $21.00 per hour
