Set up and operate multi-axis CNC turning centers to perform precision turning, drilling, milling, and finishing operations according to engineering specifications.

Job Requirements

  • Proven CNC machining experience with multi-axis turning centers.
  • Experience setting up and operating multi-axis CNC lathes.
  • Ability to perform turning, drilling, milling, and finishing operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Proficiency with precision inspection tools, including calipers and micrometers.
  • Experience troubleshooting minor machine and machining process issues.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and wrist motions.
  • Ability to occasionally lift workpieces and tooling up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Doosan CNC turning centers.
  • Experience with Okuma CNC turning centers.
  • Experience performing dimensional inspection of precision-machined components.

Job Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate multi-axis CNC turning centers.
  • Perform turning, drilling, milling, and finishing operations according to part specifications.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.
  • Inspect machined components using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Adjust tooling, machine settings, and machining processes to maintain dimensional requirements.
  • Troubleshoot minor machine, tooling, and process issues.
  • Verify completed parts meet applicable dimensional and quality specifications.
  • Handle workpieces, tooling, and materials required for machining operations.


Pay Details: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour
