RF Mechanical Assembler

Performs precision mechanical assembly and inspection of RF components and sub-assemblies using microscopes, hand tools, and detailed engineering documentation.

Job Requirements

• Strong manual dexterity and fine-motor skills for precision mechanical assembly.

• Ability to work with very small components under a microscope for extended periods.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical diagrams, and assembly instructions.

• Experience using precision hand tools, tweezers, torque tools, micro-fixtures, or bonding equipment.

• Ability to perform repetitive precision assembly tasks.

• Visual acuity sufficient for detailed microscope work.

• Ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods.

• Ability to maintain accurate production records, travelers, and assembly documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RF assembly.

• Experience with micro-mechanical assembly.

• Experience in electronics or mechanical manufacturing.

• Experience performing microscope-based inspection.

• Experience with basic RF, mechanical, or continuity testing.

• Experience assembling precision housings, components, and sub-assemblies.

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble RF mechanical components, housings, and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

• Perform precision assembly of small components using a microscope.

• Inspect completed assemblies under a microscope for alignment, clearances, component placement, and workmanship.

• Use hand tools, tweezers, torque tools, micro-fixtures, and bonding equipment during assembly operations.

• Perform basic RF, mechanical, or continuity testing when required by the manufacturing process.

• Verify assemblies meet applicable dimensional and quality requirements.

• Maintain accurate production records, travelers, inspection results, and process documentation.

• Follow established manufacturing and safety procedures.

• Identify assembly defects or process issues and support troubleshooting with production leadership.

• Rework or adjust assemblies according to approved procedures when required.

Pay: 19-25/hr

Pay Details: $19.00 to $25.00 per hour
