Performs advanced electrical controls, PLC, and equipment maintenance to improve manufacturing equipment reliability, uptime, and system performance.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical and controls systems.
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley, Rexroth, and Siemens controllers.
  • Knowledge of PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience with motor controls and drive systems.
  • Knowledge of servo motors.
  • Experience with AC and DC electrical systems.
  • Ability to perform electrical system upgrades and equipment modifications.
  • Ability to support programming activities for new equipment installations.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, twist, pull, and perform physical maintenance activities for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate or train on lift trucks, scissor lifts, and boom lifts using required fall protection.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting capital equipment or CapEx projects.
  • Experience with industrial equipment installation and commissioning.
  • Experience modifying PLC programs for equipment upgrades.
  • Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Training or experience with LOTO, fall protection, arc flash, and hazardous material procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, controls, and PLC-related equipment failures.
  • Perform advanced maintenance activities to improve equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Modify and upgrade electrical systems and control components.
  • Support PLC programming and controls integration for new equipment installations.
  • Troubleshoot Allen-Bradley, Rexroth, and Siemens control systems.
  • Diagnose and repair motor controls, drives, servo systems, and AC/DC electrical equipment.
  • Complete maintenance work requests and equipment improvement activities.
  • Support installation, startup, and modification of production equipment.
  • Coordinate with engineering and environmental, health, and safety functions on capital projects.
  • Perform electrical and controls work in accordance with LOTO, arc flash, fall protection, and other applicable safety requirements.
  • Operate lift trucks, scissor lifts, and boom lifts as required for maintenance activities.
  • Support equipment upgrades, process improvements, and plant productivity initiatives.


Pay Details: $27.00 to $41.00 per hour
