Mechanic (2nd shift) 5 Openings
Operates, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains complex high-speed manufacturing equipment while supporting production, quality, and machine changeover requirements.
Job Requirements
- Hands-on mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Automotive mechanic experience with engine repair or comparable mechanical repair work.
- Experience beyond basic automotive services such as oil changes or tire replacement.
- Ability to disassemble equipment, replace mechanical components, clear machine jams, and return equipment to operation.
- Ability to operate and maintain complex high-speed manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read and follow product specifications, prints, and written technical instructions.
- Ability to use testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
- Ability to maintain production, quality, SPC, and maintenance records.
- Ability to use machine information systems.
Preferred Skills
- Previous manufacturing equipment maintenance experience.
- Experience troubleshooting automated or high-speed production machinery.
- Experience performing machine adjustments and changeovers.
- Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) documentation.
- Experience repairing engines, mechanical assemblies, or industrial equipment.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate assigned high-speed manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and production interruptions.
- Clear machine jams and restore equipment to normal operation.
- Disassemble machinery as required to diagnose mechanical issues.
- Repair equipment and replace damaged or worn components.
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on production machinery.
- Adjust and change over equipment for different production requirements.
- Verify equipment operation against product specifications and production requirements.
- Use testing equipment to diagnose machine and process issues.
- Follow technical prints, specifications, and documented operating procedures.
- Maintain production, quality, SPC, and maintenance records.
- Enter and review information within machine information systems.
- Support additional production or equipment-related functions as required.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
