Accounting Specialist responsible for accounts payable/receivable support, payment term administration, collections support, payroll-related coordination, and financial reporting.

Job Requirements

  • Two-year degree in Accounting or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of experience in general accounting functions

  • Working knowledge of accounting principles, including accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • Experience supporting payment processing, billing, and charge coding/categorization

  • Experience communicating payment terms and resolving payment discrepancies

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Ability to prepare and interpret basic accounting reports and reconciliations

Preferred Skills

  • Crystal Reports experience

  • Experience supporting payroll-related processes and payroll information requests

  • Experience with collections activities and customer payment follow-up

  • Experience identifying discrepancies and escalating issues with supporting documentation

Job Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable activities, including invoice review, coding, and payment preparation

  • Support accounts receivable activities, including invoicing support, payment posting support, and customer payment follow-up

  • Assist with collections efforts by tracking outstanding balances and supporting communication of payment status and terms

  • Support payment term setup/maintenance and communicate terms as required

  • Assist with payroll-related coordination, including compiling and communicating payroll information as assigned

  • Generate and distribute reports using Microsoft Office and Crystal Reports as applicable

  • Research discrepancies, document findings, and provide recommendations or escalate issues to management

  • Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation for audit and internal controls



Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
