Warehouse Supervisor
Lead warehouse operations supporting receiving, shipping, inventory management, material movement, and production supply within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant employment experience
- Five to seven years of warehouse or related supervisory experience
- Experience managing warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with receiving, put-away, picking, shipping, inventory control, and material movement
- Experience using ERP or MRP systems
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience developing and enforcing standard operating procedures
- Experience using warehouse performance metrics and KPIs
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing methods
- Experience with 5S, Kanban, kitting, and visual management systems
- Experience developing standard work for warehouse operations
Preferred Skills
- Experience within a technology product manufacturing facility
- Experience with Avante ERP
- Experience supporting high-volume production environments
- Experience developing warehouse kitting processes
- Experience implementing warehouse process improvements
- Experience with equipment and facility planning for warehouse operations
- Experience with inventory optimization and material-flow improvement
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, shipping, and inventory management
- Coordinate material movement to and from production
- Ensure materials are delivered according to production schedules
- Coordinate spare parts shipments to field operations
- Establish standard work assignments for warehouse personnel
- Implement Lean methods to improve material flow
- Develop and maintain 5S, Kanban, kitting, and visual-control processes
- Develop kitting processes for internal and external material requirements
- Establish and maintain warehouse standard operating procedures
- Track warehouse performance using defined KPIs and operational measurements
- Monitor inventory accuracy and material availability
- Coordinate cross-training and warehouse work assignments
- Conduct employee performance reviews and disciplinary activities in coordination with Human Resources
- Identify warehouse equipment and facility requirements
- Support justification and implementation of warehouse equipment and facility improvements
- Maintain compliance with applicable warehouse safety and operational procedures
Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
