Fabricate, assemble, weld, test, debug, and troubleshoot mechanical and electromechanical components for diesel-powered systems.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to five years of experience in a similar mechanical or manufacturing role
  • Two to five years of experience working with commercial trailers equipped with pony motors
  • Experience installing mechanical parts and sheet metal assemblies
  • Experience using basic machine shop tools
  • MIG and TIG welding experience
  • Ability to weld aluminum, carbon steel, and stainless steel
  • Experience assembling and troubleshooting 12-volt electromechanical systems
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
  • Working knowledge of data collection and basic statistics

Preferred Skills

  • Experience reading and interpreting mechanical part drawings
  • Experience fabricating sheet metal components and assemblies
  • Experience troubleshooting diesel-related mechanical systems
  • Experience supporting manufacturing equipment or production assemblies
  • Experience performing mechanical testing and system validation

Job Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble mechanical components and systems
  • Install mechanical parts and sheet metal assemblies
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum, carbon steel, and stainless steel
  • Assemble 12-volt electromechanical systems
  • Debug and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
  • Perform mechanical system testing and validation
  • Identify component and assembly issues during manufacturing
  • Support resolution of mechanical and electromechanical production issues
  • Perform basic data collection related to testing and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate technical issue resolution with manufacturing personnel


Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
