Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and document electromechanical fuel cell components and subsystems within a manufacturing environment.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of manufacturing assembly experience
  • Experience reading and following standard operating procedures and assembly instructions
  • Experience using manual hand tools and power tools
  • Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
  • Ability to perform basic troubleshooting of systems, subsystems, and components
  • Ability to complete manufacturing documentation
  • Basic computer skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to operate manual and electric pallet jacks
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules based on manufacturing requirements
  • Ability to follow OSHA and applicable environmental health and safety requirements

Preferred Skills

  • Vocational or technical training
  • Electromechanical assembly experience
  • Experience assembling fuel cell, electrical, mechanical, or similar technical products
  • Experience performing manufacturing quality inspections or validation
  • Experience using computerized manufacturing or production systems

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform hand assembly of electromechanical subsystems and components
  • Assemble components used in fuel cell systems
  • Read and follow standard operating procedures and assembly instructions
  • Operate hand tools and power tools during assembly and validation activities
  • Perform quality validation of completed assemblies and components
  • Troubleshoot system, subsystem, and component issues during manufacturing
  • Operate manual and electric material-handling equipment
  • Complete required manufacturing and production documentation
  • Perform computer transactions related to manufacturing activities
  • Maintain production work areas and equipment
  • Follow OSHA, environmental health, safety, and manufacturing requirements
  • Support production activities based on manufacturing demand


Pay Details: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour
