Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Minimum of seven years of PCB layout and design experience

  • Primary professional experience focused on hands-on PCB design and layout

  • Advanced proficiency with Cadence Allegro PCB Designer/Editor

  • Experience independently completing complex PCB layouts

  • Knowledge of IPC standards

  • Knowledge of PCB fabrication and assembly processes

  • Experience designing multilayer PCB stackups

  • Experience with controlled impedance routing

  • Experience with high-density PCB layouts

  • Experience working within structured release and configuration management systems

  • Experience generating fabrication and assembly documentation

  • Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, EMI mitigation, grounding, and thermal design techniques

Preferred Skills

  • IPC CID or CID+ certification

  • Experience with high-speed digital interfaces, including DDR, PCIe, and SERDES

  • Experience with RF layout and transmission line design

  • Experience with BGA fan-out and fine-pitch components

  • Experience designing power distribution networks

  • Experience with decoupling optimization

  • Experience with mixed-signal PCB layouts

  • Experience supporting DFM and DFT reviews

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop PCB layouts from released schematics, netlists, and engineering requirements

  • Perform component placement and routing for complex multilayer circuit boards

  • Design high-density and controlled impedance PCB layouts

  • Execute high-speed digital, RF, power, and mixed-signal board layouts

  • Apply signal integrity and power integrity design techniques

  • Implement EMI mitigation, grounding, and thermal-management practices

  • Develop multilayer stackups and routing strategies

  • Perform BGA fan-out and fine-pitch component routing

  • Generate complete PCB fabrication and assembly documentation packages

  • Support PCB release and configuration management activities

  • Interface with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors on technical issues

  • Support design-for-manufacturing and design-for-test reviews

  • Incorporate fabrication, assembly, DFM, and DFT feedback into PCB designs

Pay: 17-21/hr

Pay Details: $17.00 to $21.00 per hour
