Job Requirements

  • High-reach forklift operating experience

  • Experience operating forklifts in production or warehouse environments

  • Experience using handheld barcode scanners

  • Ability to verify product labels against materials and documentation

  • Ability to use pick lists and complete material-transfer transactions

  • Basic math skills

  • Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures

  • Knowledge of hazard communication requirements

  • Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures, equipment manuals, posted signage, and safety instructions

  • Ability to complete required safety and equipment competency examinations after training

  • Ability to work in confined spaces after completing required confined-space training

  • Ability to use shovels, air tools, and related tank-cleaning equipment

  • Ability to wear and maintain required personal protective equipment

  • Ability to safely lift up to 70 pounds

  • Ability to stand for extended periods

  • Ability to perform repetitive physical work

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, stoop, and kneel

  • 20/20 vision or corrected 20/20 vision

  • Ability to work in a plant environment with varying temperatures and physical conditions

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate high-reach forklifts and other authorized material-handling equipment

  • Verify product labels against received and transferred materials

  • Scan products from the receiving dock to assigned storage locations

  • Retrieve materials from rack locations using pick lists

  • Scan and transfer products to work-in-process locations

  • Move materials to mezzanine staging areas for batching

  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and material-movement records

  • Follow standard operating procedures, equipment manuals, company policies, and safety regulations

  • Perform equipment startup and shutdown activities

  • Operate assigned production equipment according to training and documented procedures

  • Monitor product quality throughout the production process

  • Report potential out-of-compliance conditions

  • Use task-specific personal protective equipment

  • Maintain personal protective equipment in serviceable condition

  • Perform confined-space cleaning of tanks and mixing vessels after completing required training

  • Clean tanks using shovels, air tools, and other approved equipment

  • Follow confined-space entry, lockout/tagout, and hazard communication procedures

  • Grease, adjust, and clean designated production-line components

  • Support autonomous maintenance activities

  • Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free production and warehouse areas

  • Complete production, material-use, inspection, and safety documentation

  • Participate in cross-training across production-line positions

  • Train laborers and newly assigned manufacturing associates

  • Perform general labor duties required to support production

  • Attend required safety meetings

  • Conduct assigned safety audits

Pay: 17-19/hr

Pay Details: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
