Operates and supports semiconductor fabrication equipment in cleanroom environments, with responsibilities assigned according to technical experience and fab-area expertise.
Job Requirements
Direct cleanroom or semiconductor manufacturing experience
Experience operating semiconductor fabrication equipment
Knowledge of cleanroom procedures, contamination controls, and production requirements
Ability to follow documented process instructions, equipment procedures, and safety requirements
Ability to record production, equipment, and process data
Ability to work an assigned manufacturing shift
Technician II
2–5 years of manufacturing technician experience
At least 2 years of cleanroom or semiconductor industry experience
Technician III
5–8 years of manufacturing technician experience
Direct semiconductor cleanroom experience
At least 3 years of experience operating comparable semiconductor fabrication equipment
Technician IV
8–12 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience
Advanced experience operating multiple tools within a single fabrication area
Experience providing technical or shift-level support
Technician V
At least 12 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience
Advanced expertise within Photo, Metals, or Etch operations
Experience providing technical or shift leadership
Engineering Technician experience supporting process development or equipment improvement
Preferred Skills
Experience with Evatec equipment
Experience with Temescal equipment
Experience with NIT equipment
Experience operating multiple tools within Metals, Photo, or Etch
Experience supporting semiconductor process development
Experience supporting equipment qualification, troubleshooting, or improvement
Experience leading continuous-improvement initiatives
Technical degree or semiconductor manufacturing certification
Job Responsibilities
Operate semiconductor fabrication equipment according to approved process instructions
Load, process, inspect, and transfer semiconductor materials within cleanroom environments
Monitor equipment status, process parameters, alarms, and production results
Complete required production records, equipment logs, and electronic system entries
Perform routine equipment checks, cleaning, and operator-level maintenance
Identify and report equipment, process, material, or quality abnormalities
Support troubleshooting and recovery of semiconductor fabrication equipment
Follow cleanroom gowning, contamination-control, safety, and material-handling procedures
Maintain production flow and complete assigned manufacturing priorities
Support equipment qualifications, process trials, and engineering experiments
Assist with process-development and equipment-improvement activities
Train technicians on fab tools, procedures, and process requirements
Provide shift-level technical support for assigned fabrication areas
Support continuous-improvement activities involving process consistency, equipment availability, yield, and throughput
Maintain technical expertise across assigned Photo, Metals, or Etch equipment
Pay: 24-45/hr

Pay Details: $24.00 to $45.00 per hour
