Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 8–10 years of CNC machine operation experience
  • Experience manufacturing complex, tight-tolerance aerospace components
  • Ability to interpret work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, material specifications, and machining parameters
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Ability to verify finished-part dimensions and tolerances
  • Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, depth gauges, and size blocks
  • Ability to perform calculations involving fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
  • Experience maintaining machining records and production documentation
  • Experience leading or training CNC machinists

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC and other manufacturing equipment to produce aerospace components
  • Review work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, and specifications before machining
  • Determine machining sequences, surface locations, and operating parameters
  • Interpret GD&T requirements and apply dimensional specifications during production
  • Verify finished components meet required dimensions and tolerance levels
  • Inspect machined parts using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures
  • Adjust machine settings, tooling, and offsets to maintain part conformance
  • Monitor productivity and machining performance across assigned operations
  • Lead and train machinists on equipment operation, inspection methods, and production procedures
  • Maintain production, inspection, and equipment records
  • Perform routine equipment checks and maintain required tools and supplies
  • Follow established quality and safety standards
  • Identify and support machining process improvements
  • Report dimensional, tooling, equipment, and production issues


Pay Details: $25.00 to $41.00 per hour
