Performs receiving, order picking, shipping, inventory control, material handling, and warehouse equipment operations.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds using proper lifting techniques

  • Familiarity with warehouse systems and inventory processes

  • Ability to operate material-handling equipment

  • Ability to use hands and feet simultaneously for repetitive equipment operation

  • Availability to work any shift

  • Ability to follow OSHA, hazardous-material, and warehouse safety procedures

  • Ability to verify product numbers, quantities, lot numbers, batch numbers, and serial numbers

  • Ability to maintain accurate inventory, shipping, and receiving records

  • Ability to work within required shipping and production schedules

Preferred Skills

  • High school diploma or GED

  • OSHA forklift certification

  • HAZMAT certification

  • Experience operating forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks

  • Experience with inbound receiving and outbound shipping

  • Experience performing physical inventories and cycle counts

  • Experience entering inventory adjustments into warehouse computer systems

  • Experience operating shrink-wrap equipment

  • Knowledge of stock rotation procedures

Job Responsibilities

  • Unload trucks, trailers, railcars, and freight containers

  • Count received products and compare shipments against manifests

  • Inspect inbound shipments for damage, infestation, and production-code dates

  • Document and report shortages, damaged goods, and incorrect shipments

  • Sign for inbound shipments when authorized

  • Move received products to assigned storage locations

  • Stack and store merchandise according to warehouse requirements

  • Pick products according to item number, quantity, lot, batch, and serial-number requirements

  • Transport orders to shipping areas using forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and related equipment

  • Label, stencil, tag, mark, band, bundle, wrap, over-pack, and palletize orders

  • Verify outbound quantities, labels, addresses, and order documentation

  • Sign for outbound shipments when authorized

  • Load products, cartons, and pallets into trailers, railcars, and containers

  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and according to OSHA requirements

  • Inspect, clean, and maintain material-handling equipment

  • Charge forklift batteries as required

  • Maintain accurate warehouse records and inventory reports

  • Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts

  • Maintain proper stock rotation

  • Enter inventory adjustments into computer systems as authorized

  • Repack or re-box products according to customer instructions

  • Repair, consolidate, and segregate damaged goods

  • Operate shrink-wrap equipment

  • Separate usable and damaged pallets

  • Clean trailers, railcars, loading docks, bays, and warehouse work areas

  • Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned

Pay: 20-22/hr

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
