Maintenance Technician (Support Function)

Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs industrial production equipment using mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls-system knowledge.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 3–5 years of manufacturing or industrial equipment maintenance experience
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Familiarity with industrial controls systems
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints
• Experience writing test procedures and interpreting test data
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for 8–12-hour shifts

Preferred Skills

• Associate degree in a technical field
• Experience working in a cleanroom production environment
• Experience maintaining automated manufacturing equipment
• Experience documenting equipment repairs, inspections, and test results
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures
• Experience using computerized maintenance or work-order systems

Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial production equipment
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls-system failures
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Read and apply information from equipment manuals, schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
• Complete maintenance activities from written and verbal work instructions
• Develop and follow equipment test procedures
• Interpret test data and document results
• Inspect equipment for wear, damage, and operating issues
• Replace defective components and make equipment adjustments
• Verify equipment operation after maintenance or repair
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
• Use Microsoft Word and Excel to document equipment activity and test results
• Support production equipment during 8–12-hour shifts
• Maintain tools, replacement parts, and maintenance work areas

Pay Details: $28.00 to $40.00 per hour
