General Labor-Packer

Summary: Prepares finished moldings for shipment, inspects product quality, applies labels, and maintains accurate production records.

Job Requirements

• Basic math skills
• Ability to read and write
• Ability to maintain accurate production records
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work around heavy lift and material-handling traffic

Preferred Skills

• Experience in packaging, finishing, manufacturing, or distribution operations
• Experience inspecting finished products for quality defects
• Experience printing and applying product or shipping labels
• Experience completing production reports and shipment documentation
• Knowledge of packaging requirements and customer specifications

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare finished moldings for shipment according to customer specifications
• Inspect products for defects and quality issues
• Package products using required materials and methods
• Print and apply labels to finished products
• Maintain accurate production and packaging records
• Verify product quantities and packaging information
• Organize completed products for shipment
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Follow safety procedures around forklifts and other material-handling equipment
• Perform occasional lifting of materials weighing up to 50 pounds

Pay Details: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour
