EM Assemblers (1st shift)
Sets up, tests, calibrates, troubleshoots, and repairs electronic equipment in accordance with electrical and mechanical design requirements.
Job Requirements
- 2–4 years of electronic assembly, testing, calibration, or repair experience
- Knowledge of electrical test equipment assembly
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical design documents
- Familiarity with transformers, rectifiers, capacitors, resistors, circuit boards, and related electronic components
- Experience using manual and automatic wire crimpers
- Experience using soldering irons, heat guns, electrical test equipment, mechanical hand tools, pneumatic tools, and measurement tools
- Ability to operate material lifts or hoists
- Knowledge of electrostatic discharge handling procedures
- Ability to move or handle up to 40 pounds without assistance
Preferred Skills
- Experience soldering surface-mount components on printed circuit boards
- Experience troubleshooting returned electronic products
- Experience performing equipment calibration and functional verification
- Familiarity with electronic failure analysis and component-level repair
- Experience documenting test, calibration, and repair results
Job Responsibilities
- Set up completed electronic equipment for testing and calibration
- Perform functional, electrical, and performance testing
- Calibrate equipment according to approved procedures and specifications
- Troubleshoot returned products and identify electrical or mechanical failures
- Repair electronic equipment, assemblies, wiring, and components
- Assemble equipment from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical documentation
- Install and connect transformers, rectifiers, capacitors, resistors, circuit boards, and related components
- Crimp wires and terminals using manual or automatic equipment
- Perform soldering, component replacement, and wiring repairs
- Use electrical test instruments and measurement tools to verify equipment performance
- Operate lifts, hoists, pneumatic tools, and mechanical hand tools as required
- Follow electrostatic discharge controls during component handling and repair
- Document testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair activities
- Verify repaired equipment meets applicable functional and quality requirements
Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
