Electronic Test Techs (1st and 2nd)

Sets up, tests, calibrates, troubleshoots, and repairs electronic equipment and electromechanical assemblies according to engineering and quality requirements.

Job Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science degree in Electronics Technology
• At least 2 years of related electronics testing, repair, or assembly experience
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuits
• Knowledge of AC and DC voltage
• Experience operating digital multimeters and oscilloscopes
• Experience testing electronic components and assemblies with automated test equipment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and test procedures
• Ability to follow written procedures and verbal technical instructions
• Experience recording test, calibration, and repair results
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Skills

• Experience performing mechanical assembly of electromechanical subassemblies
• Experience troubleshooting returned electronic products
• Familiarity with electronic test fixtures and calibration equipment
• Experience supporting material handling or inventory control
• Knowledge of workmanship and quality-control standards

Job Responsibilities

• Set up completed electronic equipment for testing and calibration
• Perform functional testing of electronic components and assemblies
• Operate automated test equipment and test fixtures
• Measure and verify analog, digital, AC, and DC circuit performance
• Troubleshoot returned products and identify electronic or mechanical failures
• Repair electronic equipment and assemblies
• Perform mechanical assembly of electromechanical subassemblies as required
• Read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, test procedures, and work instructions
• Record test results, calibration data, defects, and completed repairs
• Verify completed work meets workmanship and quality-control standards
• Assist with material handling and inventory-control activities
• Maintain test equipment, tools, fixtures, and assigned work areas
• Complete required technical and safety training

Pay Details: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
