Inventory Services & Material Management
Manages loading dock operations, inbound and outbound shipments, package delivery, inventory records, hazardous materials, and shipping documentation.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED
2 or more years of experience in material handling, inventory replenishment, shipping, purchasing, or related warehouse operations
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
Experience entering shipping, inventory, order, and reporting data into computer systems
Ability to review shipping documentation and packaging requirements
Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment
Ability to work on a loading dock in varying temperatures and noise levels
Ability to walk, stand, bend, reach, lift, and carry materials throughout the workday
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to meet applicable background check, health, safety, and security-clearance requirements
Preferred Skills
Spill containment training
IATA hazardous materials training
DOT hazardous materials training
IMDG training
OSHA Right-to-Know training
Knowledge of scientific products and services
Experience handling hazardous material staging and storage
Experience inspecting warehouse or shipping equipment
Familiarity with inventory metrics, cost-savings tracking, and change-management documentation
Job Responsibilities
Maintain loading dock and dock office areas
Receive, inspect, document, and track incoming packages and materials
Deliver inbound packages and materials to designated internal recipients
Prepare and coordinate outgoing shipments
Enter shipping information into applicable computer systems
Review shipping documentation, labels, and packaging requirements
Operate basic warehouse and material-handling equipment
Perform required equipment inspections
Coordinate dock access for onsite vendors and contractors
Manage inventory levels, records, and replenishment activities
Process order entries and maintain operational reports
Track shipping, inventory, performance, quality, and cost-savings metrics
Oversee hazardous material staging, storage, and access
Follow applicable IATA, DOT, IMDG, OSHA, and hazardous-material procedures
Maintain shipping, inventory, and package-delivery records
Coordinate with purchasing, facilities, plant operations, sales, and manufacturing personnel
Document operational and process changes
Develop and implement improvements to shipping and inventory processes
Maintain compliance with applicable safety, quality, security, and operating procedures
Pay: 20-24/hr

Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
