Material Handler (1st)
Manages inventory, material movement, production returns, and finished-goods shipments within a manufacturing environment.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Computer and data-entry proficiency
Ability to use Oracle or a comparable inventory management system
Ability to read and follow operating procedures, work instructions, move orders, and pick slips
Ability to work assigned shifts and required overtime
Ability to stand for extended periods and handle small components
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, walk, climb, balance, and reach
Ability to regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds
Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
Ability to perform repetitive-motion tasks around moving mechanical equipment
Close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision with the ability to adjust focus
Preferred Skills
Manufacturing or industrial environment experience
Inventory control or warehouse experience
Oracle inventory transaction experience
Material picking, packing, crating, loading, and shipping experience
5S workplace organization experience
ISO 9001:2015 manufacturing environment experience
Experience with continuous improvement projects
Experience performing material-handling equipment inspections
Job Responsibilities
Identify, label, store, and record materials and supplies in inventory
Record inventory locations and material transactions in Oracle
Pull and verify materials listed on move orders and pick slips
Deliver materials and supplies to designated production locations
Complete inventory movement transactions in Oracle
Receive returned materials and supplies from production
Verify returned item numbers, lot numbers, and quantities
Return verified materials to stock and complete required Oracle transactions
Pick, pack, crate, load, and secure finished products for shipment
Follow shipping procedures and work instructions
Perform pre-use inspections of scales and other material-handling equipment
Troubleshoot inventory, material movement, and transaction discrepancies
Maintain plant areas, workstations, equipment, walkways, and break rooms using 5S procedures
Participate in continuous improvement projects
Follow applicable operating procedures, work instructions, and ISO 9001:2015 requirements
Pay: 20-25/hr

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
