Line Inspector

100% Inspector role focused on part inspection, blueprint reading, measurement tool use, inspection documentation, and defect-free product verification.

Job Requirements

• Experience inspecting manufactured parts

• Blueprint reading capability

• Experience using micrometers, calipers, comparators, thread ring gages, thread plug gages, dial stands, pin gages, and job-specific inspection gages

• Basic computer skills

• Basic math skills for calibration and measurement

• Ability to record inspection results in job files

• Ability to perform frequent grasping to pick up and inspect parts

• Visual acuity required for part inspection

• Ability to lift or pull up to 20 lbs. infrequently

• Ability to sit for prolonged periods

• Ability to use required protective equipment, including safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection

Preferred Skills

• 100% inspection experience

• Visual defect inspection experience

• Sorting method experience

• OASIS setup and maintenance experience

• Experience training inspection staff

• Experience working with job inspection instructions

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect parts from the manufacturing process

• Perform 100% inspection to verify defect-free parts

• Read and interpret blueprints for inspection requirements

• Use inspection tools and gages to verify part dimensions and quality

• Record inspection results in job files

• Complete inspection documentation according to job requirements

• Assist with training 100% inspection staff on visual defects and sorting methods

• Assist with OASIS setup and maintenance

• Support 100% inspection activities as needed

• Identify visual defects and nonconforming parts

• Follow job inspection instructions and required inspection methods

Pay: 20-21/hr

Pay Details: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
