Job Requirements

  • Experience inspecting or sorting manufactured parts

  • Ability to follow daily shipment quantity requirements

  • Ability to identify quality problems and notify supervision

  • Experience maintaining accurate inspection or audit records

  • Ability to verify or sort discrepant product

  • Ability to identify and organize product for shipment

  • Ability to stop a process producing or suspected of producing nonconforming product

  • Ability to frequently grasp parts for inspection

  • Visual acuity required for part inspection

  • Ability to lift or pull up to 20 lbs. infrequently

  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods

  • Ability to use required protective equipment, including safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection

  • Product sorting experience

  • Shipment inspection experience

  • Experience with nonconforming product identification

  • Experience maintaining audit logs

Job Responsibilities

  • Inspect and sort parts required for shipment

  • Perform 100% inspection to verify defect-free parts

  • Follow daily shipment quantity requirements

  • Notify supervisor when quality issues occur

  • Notify supervisor when required shipment quantities cannot be achieved

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date audit logs

  • Ensure product is properly identified and organized

  • Assist with shipment readiness to support on-time customer delivery

  • Verify or sort discrepant product to make it available for shipment

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

  • Support quality, production, and engineering activities as directed

  • Stop processes that are producing or suspected of producing nonconforming product

  • Complete assigned responsibilities as directed

Pay: 17-18.50/hr

Pay Details: $17.00 to $18.50 per hour
