Coil Winder Operator
Wire Coiling Machine Operator position focused on operating coiling and winding equipment, reading production documents, and performing brazing and welding tasks.
Job Requirements
- Experience operating wire coiling machines
- Experience reading work travelers and work orders
- Experience reading and interpreting winding sheets
- Experience operating winding lathes, punches, brakes, slitters, and shears
- Experience with brazing and welding
- Ability to follow production documentation and equipment setup requirements
Preferred Skills
- Experience in coil winding, wire forming, fabrication, or machine operation
- Experience working with metal fabrication equipment
- Experience performing equipment setup and basic production checks
- Experience using hand tools and measuring tools in a production environment
Job Responsibilities
- Operate wire coiling machines
- Read and follow work travelers and work orders
- Read and interpret winding sheets for production requirements
- Operate winding lathes, punches, brakes, slitters, and shears
- Perform brazing and welding as required
- Set up materials and equipment for assigned production work
- Inspect completed work for alignment with production requirements
- Maintain equipment, tools, and work area according to production standards
Pay Details: $17.00 to $23.00 per hour
