Coil Winder Operator

Wire Coiling Machine Operator position focused on operating coiling and winding equipment, reading production documents, and performing brazing and welding tasks.

Job Requirements

• Experience operating wire coiling machines
• Experience reading work travelers and work orders
• Experience reading and interpreting winding sheets
• Experience operating winding lathes, punches, brakes, slitters, and shears
• Experience with brazing and welding
• Ability to follow production documentation and equipment setup requirements

Preferred Skills

• Experience in coil winding, wire forming, fabrication, or machine operation
• Experience working with metal fabrication equipment
• Experience performing equipment setup and basic production checks
• Experience using hand tools and measuring tools in a production environment

Job Responsibilities

• Operate wire coiling machines
• Read and follow work travelers and work orders
• Read and interpret winding sheets for production requirements
• Operate winding lathes, punches, brakes, slitters, and shears
• Perform brazing and welding as required
• Set up materials and equipment for assigned production work
• Inspect completed work for alignment with production requirements
• Maintain equipment, tools, and work area according to production standards

Pay Details: $17.00 to $23.00 per hour
