Shipping Clerk/Logistics Assistant responsible for processing shipments, coordinating carriers, maintaining shipping records, and supporting logistics and inventory reporting.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate degree preferred
  • 1 to 3+ years of shipping, logistics, or transportation experience
  • SAP experience for shipping transactions, inventory management, or order processing
  • Experience with UPS shipments
  • Experience with FedEx shipments
  • Experience with DHL shipments
  • Experience with LTL freight shipments
  • Knowledge of bills of lading
  • Knowledge of shipping documentation
  • Freight coordination experience
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Experience using reporting tools
  • Experience preparing shipment records and carrier documentation
  • Experience tracking shipments and delivery status

Job Responsibilities

  • Process domestic shipments using carrier systems
  • Process international shipments using carrier systems
  • Prepare shipping labels
  • Prepare bills of lading
  • Prepare commercial invoices
  • Prepare required shipping paperwork
  • Coordinate shipments with transportation providers
  • Track deliveries to support on-time arrival
  • Enter shipping data in SAP and other systems
  • Update shipping records in SAP and other systems
  • Maintain shipping, inventory, and logistics data
  • Generate shipping reports
  • Generate inventory reports
  • Generate logistics reports
  • Analyze shipping and logistics reports
  • Distribute operational reports as required
  • Communicate shipment status with internal departments
  • Communicate scheduling and delivery issues
  • Resolve shipping discrepancies
  • Resolve carrier claims
  • Resolve transportation-related issues
  • Maintain records of shipments
  • Maintain records of freight charges
  • Maintain records of inventory movements
  • Assist with inventory control activities
  • Assist with cycle counts
  • Support warehouse activities as needed
  • Ensure shipping activities comply with company policies and shipping regulations


Pay Details: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour
