Brake Press Operator – 2nd shift

Brake press operator role focused on CNC and manual brake press setup, blueprint interpretation, part fabrication, inspection, and material handling.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• Experience setting up and operating CNC or manual brake press equipment

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Ability to read and follow work orders

• Shop math skills

• Experience using precision measuring tools

• Experience using calipers and gauges

• Ability to inspect parts for quality and accuracy

• Ability to safely operate cranes, hoists, or lifting equipment

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to stand for extended periods

Preferred Skills

• Brake press operating experience

• Manufacturing experience

• CNC brake press experience

• Manual brake press experience

• Material handling equipment experience

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC brake press equipment

• Set up manual brake press equipment

• Operate CNC or manual brake press equipment

• Fabricate parts according to blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders

• Use shop math to support part fabrication

• Inspect parts using calipers and gauges

• Verify part quality and dimensional accuracy

• Move finished parts using cranes, hoists, or lifting equipment

• Follow safe equipment operation practices during fabrication and material handling

Pay: 21-25/hr

Pay Details: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
