SMT Operator (1st shift)

SMT operator role focused on SMT machine operation, solder paste printing, reflow oven monitoring, inspection, program validation, and IPC-A-610 workmanship standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of SMT operator experience

• Experience with SMT machinery and tooling

• Experience performing screen printing of solder paste

• Experience verifying correct solder paste application

• Experience operating and monitoring reflow ovens

• Experience operating and monitoring inspection scopes

• Experience operating and monitoring stencil printers

• Experience with SMT setup and teardown

• Experience validating SMT programs during initial production runs

• Experience making SMT program adjustments for accuracy and quality

• Experience inspecting assemblies for correct component values, placement, and orientation

• Experience with 3D AOI inspection

• Experience with X-ray inspection of board assemblies

• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 workmanship standards

• Ability to follow quality procedures

Preferred Skills

• 3D AOI programming experience

• SMT programming experience

• Electronic assembly inspection experience

• Reflow process experience

• Stencil printer setup experience

Responsibilities

• Operate SMT machinery and tooling

• Perform screen printing of solder paste

• Verify correct solder paste application

• Set up and tear down SMT equipment

• Operate and monitor reflow ovens

• Operate and monitor inspection scopes

• Operate and monitor stencil printers

• Validate SMT programs during initial production runs

• Adjust SMT programs as needed to support accuracy and quality

• Inspect assemblies for correct component values

• Inspect assemblies for correct component placement

• Inspect assemblies for correct component orientation

• Perform 3D AOI inspection

• Perform X-ray inspection of board assemblies

• Follow quality procedures and IPC-A-610 workmanship standards

Pay: 25-28/hr

Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
