Electrician Level 1
Entry-level electrician role focused on conduit preparation, wire installation, electrical terminations, inspection, and basic electrical construction support.
Requirements
- Electrical license not required
- Knowledge of hand tools
- Knowledge of power tools
- Knowledge of basic electrical construction methods
- Ability to measure, cut, bend, and thread wire and conduit
- Ability to install support brackets
- Ability to drill, pull wire, strip insulation, and terminate connections
- Ability to inspect units for loose connections or damaged insulation
- Ability to repair loose connections or damaged insulation
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
- Ability to bend, twist, and reach
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to push and pull up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to work from ladders and elevated surfaces
Preferred Skills
- Previous electrical construction experience
- Wire termination experience
- Conduit bending experience
- Electrical assembly experience
Responsibilities
- Measure wire and conduit for installation
- Cut wire and conduit to required specifications
- Bend and thread conduit
- Install support brackets
- Drill as required for electrical installation work
- Pull wire through conduit and electrical assemblies
- Strip insulation from wires
- Terminate electrical connections
- Inspect units for loose connections
- Inspect units for damaged insulation
- Repair loose connections and damaged insulation as needed
- Use hand and power tools for electrical construction tasks
Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
