Requirements

  • Electrical license not required
  • Knowledge of hand tools
  • Knowledge of power tools
  • Knowledge of basic electrical construction methods
  • Ability to measure, cut, bend, and thread wire and conduit
  • Ability to install support brackets
  • Ability to drill, pull wire, strip insulation, and terminate connections
  • Ability to inspect units for loose connections or damaged insulation
  • Ability to repair loose connections or damaged insulation
  • Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
  • Ability to bend, twist, and reach
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to work from ladders and elevated surfaces

Preferred Skills

  • Previous electrical construction experience
  • Wire termination experience
  • Conduit bending experience
  • Electrical assembly experience

Responsibilities

  • Measure wire and conduit for installation
  • Cut wire and conduit to required specifications
  • Bend and thread conduit
  • Install support brackets
  • Drill as required for electrical installation work
  • Pull wire through conduit and electrical assemblies
  • Strip insulation from wires
  • Terminate electrical connections
  • Inspect units for loose connections
  • Inspect units for damaged insulation
  • Repair loose connections and damaged insulation as needed
  • Use hand and power tools for electrical construction tasks


Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
