Electro-Mechanical Technician responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated machinery, control systems, electrical systems, PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA-supported equipment.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or certification in Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field

  • Experience installing and setting up automated machinery

  • Experience installing and setting up control systems

  • Experience performing routine maintenance on automation equipment

  • Experience inspecting automation equipment

  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical issues in automated systems

  • Experience troubleshooting electrical issues in automated systems

  • Experience troubleshooting software issues in automated systems

  • Experience repairing automated systems

  • Experience with 480-volt 3-phase electrical systems

  • Experience with applicable control voltages

  • Experience modifying control wiring

  • Experience with PLC programming changes

  • Experience backing up control files

  • Experience updating electrical prints

  • Intermediate understanding of PLCs

  • Intermediate understanding of HMIs

  • Intermediate understanding of SCADA systems

  • Computer literacy in a Microsoft environment

  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation schedule

  • Ability to climb, walk, twist, and bend

  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods

  • Ability to safely lift at least 70 pounds

  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance

Responsibilities

  • Assist with installation of automated machinery

  • Work with 480-volt 3-phase electrical systems

  • Work with applicable control voltages

  • Modify control wiring as needed

  • Make PLC programming changes as needed

  • Back up control files before changes

  • Update electrical prints after changes

  • Perform electrical maintenance duties as required

  • Perform mechanical maintenance duties as required

  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergencies

Pay: 22-25/hr

Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
