Assembly Technician responsible for precision assembly, laser metrology, inspection, troubleshooting, documentation, and production support for components and linear bearing assemblies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Technical training preferred

  • 2+ years of assembly or manufacturing experience preferred

  • Experience with laser metrology

  • Experience measuring flatness, straightness, or related precision measurements

  • Experience testing and debugging failures

  • Linear bearings experience

  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints

  • Experience reading and interpreting schematics

  • Experience reading and following work orders

  • Experience using hand tools

  • Experience using power tools

  • Experience using automated equipment

  • Experience inspecting assembled parts to quality standards

  • Experience identifying defective components or materials

  • Basic math skills

  • Basic measurement skills

  • Experience with small parts and tools

  • Experience completing production or quality documentation

Responsibilities

  • Perform precision assembly of components

  • Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, or automated equipment

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders

  • Perform laser metrology measurements

  • Measure flatness, straightness, and related precision characteristics

  • Test assemblies and components

  • Debug and identify failures

  • Inspect assembled parts to verify quality standards

  • Identify defective components or materials

  • Report defective components or materials

  • Complete production tracking documentation

  • Complete quality control documentation

  • Assist with inventory tracking

  • Assist with materials handling

  • Maintain workstation organization and cleanliness

  • Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures

  • Support engineering, quality, and production teams as needed

  • Support production goals through assigned assembly, inspection, and testing tasks

Pay: 25-28/hr

Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
